TURN SOME TRICKS
Your best friend does not have to know how to empty the dishwasher to get great photo’s but it can definitley help us to get awesome images if they know how to sit, stay and drop. Brush up on any special tricks your dog may know like high five and roll over. And if your pooch is a bit like mine and prefers the rebel life don’t worry we still get great photo’s!
BURN BABY BURN
Is your bestie a bit of a pocket rocket? That’s great. We love the little wigglers! But we do suggest taking them for a walk prior to your session. This can help get them calm and focused. But don’t wear them out too much, we still want plenty of energy left for those action shots!
HAIRCUTS ARE NOT JUST FOR SCHOOL PHOTO’S
Does your best friend look like a barking mop? It might be best to get them a professional groom before attending your session. The best photos are when we are able to feel that connection with our subjects and if we can’t see their eyes then that can sometimes be lost in a puff of floof!
Now that you have your best friend all ready it’s time to prepare yourself. No I don’t mean how you look. We are not taking your photo! I mean your pets feed off your energy. So before and during the session we need you to be calm, relaxed and patient. Don’t worry if your pet isn’t doing exactly what we want. We will work with them and find something that works. We never force them into position and want this experience to be positive and fun for all. It’s our confidence and experience with pets that help us get the best reults for you so we ask that you trust us and go with the flow during the session.
YOU DON’T NEED TO BRING ANYTHING
Unless you want to. The studio is well stocked with high quality treats, toys and bowties however if you have a favourite toy or your pet is on a special diet by all means bring them along with you. Don’t forget your bestie!
